Ojibwe educator, writer, storyteller and artist Lois Beardslee is one of a very few Indian women to continue to cut traditional animal motifs from birch bark. Each of these beautiful handmade and signed cards features deer, bear, rabbit, fish, wolf, skunk, porcupine, or turtle; or a traditional birch bark biting, with the name in Ojibwe and English.
